Inca Empire
The Inca Empire was founded in 1438 AD, centered in Peru, the entirety of the Empire ran up and down the Andean Mountain range ("Inca"). Their terrain was different in many different parts of the empire, but they adapted to each of them with man-made structures, for example, the terraced structures and mountain communities (Cartwright, 2014).
